Joseph B Wirthlin

I am so grateful for Elder Wirthlin. I mentioned before, his talk, "Come What May, and Love It" was one of my favorites last conference. I am so glad he can be reunited with his wife. What a sweet man.
Every day is an adventure,” Elder Wirthlin said. “Every day carries with it a responsibility. I thought, well, here I am — sort of the 11th hour maybe in my life — I’d better make the most of it.”
Elder Wirthlin said: “As I look back on it now, I wonder if those times of trial and loneliness weren’t instrumental in strengthening my character and heightening my desire to succeed. Those times of seeming failure may have been some of the most instrumental of my life, because they prepared me for greater things to come.”

I am glad I checked your blog. Since I don't get Utah news, I was sad/happy to see that Elder Wirthlin has passed on. Thanks for telling me!
