Sunday at the Doxeys

We celebrated Grandma Velma's 78th birthday on Sunday. She is such a sweet grandma. It was a great opportunity for a four generation picture. Corban wasn't cooperating well, so the picture with him didn't quite turn out as well as we hoped.

Dave was so cute chasing the kids around the yard which gave dad a good chance to get some great pictures of the kids.

So she is taking after grandpa Gordon already! Caffeine Free Diet Dr Pepper.

A Trip to the ZOO

Grandma Nina (well Corban says maamah myma) planned a day at the zoo for us. Our Grandma and Grandpa Droubay and my cousins met us too. We had so much fun. Corban loved it, loved it, loved it! He is such a fun kid. Isabelle was an angel- hardly a peep all day. She was looking around all day.

Yes Corban is wearing a harness and he loved it! he will put it on at home now and hand you the "tail" It is fantastic. Funny.

Generosity of Neighbors (and family)

Our kind neighbors- Rita and BJ- Gave us the pool they used for their grandkids over the years. :) I just started mowing the lawn and Rita mentioned handing it over the fence- I got part of the front done when I noticed her rolling to kiddie pool toward our yard. I stopped and helped her lob the pool over to our side. Corban would not wait- the mowing would have to continue another time- perhaps. . .
(which BTW it did, as my mother-in-law graciously came over to finish the job. I love you Connie! thank you so much!)
Corban loves water and had so much fun playing, especially when I sprayed him with the hose. He loved it- when I decided we'd had enough, he fought his "terrible" mom all the way into the house- with his lip quivering because he was cold.
He sure is a fun boy. We are so lucky.

Happy 4th of July

We had such a fun day on the 4th celebrating Grandpa Gordon's birthday! He took these GREAT pictures! We were able to spend time with our Doxey and Droubay grandparents, and as a special treat Uncle Jeff from the east coast.

Now gma and gpa Doxey are off to mexico (puerta vallarta) for their 30th anniversary!

Just a few pictures from the weekend.

I took Corban on a drive up to Squaw Peak (Truth be told- I was trying to get him to sleep). He loved it. He didn't want to leave.

Isabelle hardly stops smiling.

Where have we been?

It's been almost a month. We have been very busy. I have been working a lot of overtime. Dave has been very busy finishing the airplane and trying to adjust to life without Dan around. We miss him. Dave has been watching the kids 3 days of the week. It's been fun to watch him interact with the kids.
I love our little family.
